Price and format
Prices start at £120 for one person or pet, drawn head and shoulders in graphite on A3 artist paper. The portrait image is approximately A4 in size, with a plain or softly faded background.

A few details are enough to begin. I will reply personally to discuss your photograph, format and price.
Clear from the beginning
Commission details
I will confirm the photograph, final composition, price and expected completion date with you before accepting the deposit.
Payment
Once we have agreed your quote, I will send a secure Stripe payment link. A 50% deposit reserves your commission. The remaining 50%, plus any delivery charge, is due after you approve the preview and before the finished portrait is dispatched.
Timing and preview
Most portraits are completed within 4–6 weeks after the deposit and reference photograph are approved. One round of small refinements is included at the preview stage.
Delivery
UK delivery is £15 by Royal Mail Special Delivery, tracked and insured. Your signed portrait is supplied unframed, protected between archival tracing paper and packaged securely for dispatch.
Other requests
Additional subjects, detailed backgrounds, unusual formats and international delivery are quoted individually before work begins.
Cancellations
You may cancel for a full refund before drawing begins. Once work has started, any refund will take account of the work already completed and materials used. Because each portrait is made specifically for you, ordinary change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply once production has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights.
