I create graphite portraits from photographs, paying close attention to likeness, character and the small details that make someone familiar.
Each drawing develops slowly through line, tone and careful observation. I share a preview before completion, so small refinements can be made before I sign the finished portrait and prepare it for its journey home.

A personal commission, considered carefully
From £120
A single head-and-shoulders portrait of one person or pet, drawn in graphite on A3 artist paper with an image approximately A4 in size.
- Plain or softly faded background
- Preview and one round of small refinements
- Signed and supplied unframed, carefully protected for delivery
- Usually completed within 4–6 weeks
Payment: once we have agreed the photograph, composition and price, I will send you a secure Stripe payment link. A 50% deposit reserves the commission. The remaining 50%, plus any delivery charge, is due after you approve the preview and before dispatch.
UK delivery: £15 by Royal Mail Special Delivery, tracked and insured. Additional subjects, detailed backgrounds and international delivery are quoted individually.
